Standardized Safety Orientation

 Standardized Safety Orientation (SSO-O) is a general safety awareness program that delivers a common, yet comprehensive safety orientation program that will benefit all workers and businesses.

Course topics include: Legislation, Risk Management/Hazard Control, Regulations, Safety Procedures, Elelctrical Awareness, Personal Protective Equipment and more.

The courses are offered at th Civic Centre, 99 Foster Drive, unless otherwise stated.  The course is 4 hours in length. The refresher course is 2 hours in length and runs concurrent with the regular course.

Click here for 2010 Course Dates. Please note that afternoon courses are negotiable based on minimum registration numbers (i.e. 5 for SSO-O, or 6 for SSO-R).

Additional courses require 3 business days notice for scheduling.

Please note that all scheduled courses are subject to cancellation by the administrators if minimum registration numbers are not met. If the course is cancelled you will be notified within 1 business day.

Effective May 5, 2009 Standardized Safety Orientation will be delivered by LG Safety Solutions.
